Now Playing: Ecuadorian song "Jatuyaku" from Eco Del Sur's CD Latin American Roots (2006).

Each month, Raíces highlights a member of its Artist Coalition. This month we recognize Eco Del Sur, a musical group of 4-7 artists who play music from the Andes and several other Latin American regions using a well-blended mix of traditional and contemporary instruments. This group has performed at well recognized venues such as the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Princeton University, the Detroit Institute of arts, the Museum of Natural History and the New Jersey Folk Festival. Raíces is pleased to have Eco Del Sur as an official member of its Artist Coalition. If you would like a performance by Eco Del Sur, be sure to let us know when you contact Raíces about a showcase for your event.
Raíces Culturales Latinoamericanas' coalition of artists includes a variety of music and dance groups and visual artists.
We take high quality performances to organizations and venues such as the Susan G. Komen Foundation, the American Association of Museums, the Kimmel Center, the International House and Penn's Landing, among many others. ().
We also bring showcases to schools, demonstrating a sample of Latin American cultures through music, dance and workshops.
