The tertulia is a signature Raices event meant to engage the audience with the cultural and artistic aspects of Latin America.

Our May Tertulia will feature Magdaliz Roura of Trio Crisol, Venezuela actress Yahaira Paredes, and Pig Iron Theater School student Katherine Gould. After each presenter has showcased their talents, a discussion focusing on how the political and social conditions of each artist’s home country has shaped their relationship with their specific art form will follow.
